Adam is passionate about how creative arts can promote wellbeing and is keen to conduct this research to obtain evidence to demonstrate that simple, inexpensive and easily accessible art activities can assist to improve mental wellbeing.
The ‘Arts on our Mind’ research was conducted with the University of Queensland and Metro South Health, together with Professor Matthew Bambling (Clinical Psychologist), Dr. Marianne Wyder (Social Worker/Senior Research Fellow) and Emeritus Professor Graham Martin OAM (Psychiatrist).
Arts On Our Mind (AOOM): The effectiveness of creative activities in promoting mental wellbeing and reducing psychopathological symptoms in children of families with a mental illness
This research is a mixed method study involving a qualitative component and a quantitative Randomised Control Trial.
